“Boys and girls in America have such a sad time together; sophistication demands that they submit to sex immediately without proper preliminary talk. Not courting talk—real straight talk about souls, for life is holy and every moment is precious.” ― Jack Kerouac

I Think I'd Choose The Beach Over The Rocks, But To Each Is Own, Right?
“Why wasn’t friendship as good as a relationship? Why wasn’t it even better? It was two people who remained together, day after day, bound not by sex or physical attraction or money or children or property, but only by the shared agreement to keep going, the mutual dedication to a union that could never be codified.” ― Hanya Yanagihara

It's Time For Tea, Sweetie...Your Rent Payment Can Wait

Her Fingernails Remind Me Of Those Candy-Coated Almonds...Mmmmm
The Nonconformist Club
The nonconformists decided to band.
And form a friendship club in a new land.
A new land could not be found anywhere.
Plus crazy disagreements were everywhere.
Intense yelling ensued and fighting broke out.
Nonconformity was rampant, and all about.
I did not think it would work a ringleader said.
For if anyone said green, I would have to say red.
A club was always a dumb idea, said another.
I can’t even get along with my own stupid brother.
I can’t believe I ever agreed, said a third.
Knowing I have to always have the last word.
